Privacy and cookie policy

Effective: September 8, 2026

PuzzleShore is designed for adults to find printable learning activities for children. You do not need an account, and the site does not ask children to submit names, school details, photos, or other personal information.

Information handled when you visit

Like most hosted websites, PuzzleShore and its service providers may process technical request information such as an IP address, browser and device type, requested page, referring page, approximate location, and request time. We use this information to deliver pages, prevent abuse, understand aggregate usage, and improve performance.

Search runs on the site using the words entered in the search field. Search terms can appear in the requested URL and therefore may be present in browser history, hosting logs, or analytics. Do not enter a child’s name or other personal information into search.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and interactions such as puzzle views, print and download actions, learning-pack progress, and continuation choices. Google Analytics may receive the page URL, IP-derived location, device and browser information, and event data. It may set cookies such as _ga to distinguish browsers and produce aggregate reports. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or a child’s personal information to Google Analytics.

Return-visit measurement

When analytics is enabled, PuzzleShore stores small first-party browser records for general visit days and for days when someone meaningfully uses a resource—for example, by printing, opening a worksheet, downloading a pack, or marking an activity complete. Session storage can also remember which anonymous puzzle identifiers were viewed or used during the current browser session. This lets us distinguish a simple revisit from a later-day engaged return, and measure multi-puzzle sessions, continuation choices, and printable-pack use without storing a name, email address, child profile, puzzle answers, or a cross-site identifier. Clearing site data removes these browser records.

Recently viewed, saved activities, progress, and print packs

If you use these features, PuzzleShore stores the selected worksheet titles, public asset links, grade and topic labels, learning-pack details, completion timestamps, and anonymous resource identifiers in your browser’s local storage. This information stays on that device; it is not an account, is not synchronized to PuzzleShore, and does not contain a child’s answers. You can remove individual activities, clear a print pack, change completion status, or clear the site’s browser data at any time.

Cloudflare hosting and Web Analytics

Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site and may process network request information for security, reliability, and performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics also measures page-load and Core Web Vitals data. Cloudflare describes that product as privacy-first and cookie-free and says it does not track individual visitors across customer sites.

Advertising

PuzzleShore may use Google AdSense on eligible pages. When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use first-party or third-party cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to deliver, limit, personalize where permitted, and measure ads and to prevent fraud. An ad script is not loaded merely to display an empty ad placeholder; ad features are enabled only when configured.

Cookie choices

You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking cookies may change how analytics or advertising works but is not required to open or print a worksheet. Google advertising choices can also be managed throughMy Ad Center. Where required, a consent message may offer additional choices before advertising cookies are used.

Children’s privacy

PuzzleShore does not provide accounts, comments, uploads, or direct messaging for children and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data through a service connected to this site, contact us so we can investigate and request deletion where appropriate.

Sharing, retention, and security

We do not sell personal information. Technical and analytics data is shared with the hosting, security, analytics, and advertising providers described above only as needed for those services. Those providers apply their own retention periods and privacy terms. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data. To ask a privacy question or request action, email privacy@puzzleshore.com. We may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant data, but please do not send sensitive information.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when the site or its providers change. The effective date above will be revised for a material update. This page is the canonical source for the current version.
